Open Standards that matter

Why do open standards matter to your business? Because open standards bring huge value. Not only to you, but more important to your customers. Standards that are particularly easy for all market participants to access, develop and use, lead to better interoperability, higher quality and more diversity. We believe in the power of open standards and the value they bring. From your customers’ perspective it first and foremost reduces the risk of a vendor lock-in but also drives interoperability and innovation at the same time.

Create new standards, change the world

Throughout the last decade we have developed several standards, ranging from hardware to software. Our open culture within SGET provides a solid foundation for the development of new standards as well as the targeted further development of existing standards. We encourage all of our members to contribute to our working groups or to create new ones in order to further develop, communicate and market open standards for embedded hardware and software. Be the change and join our association!
